TERRIBLE service

As of 6/6/22 I am still waiting for the job to be completed. Need a replacement screen door and 2 screen door locks. They have not even mentioned fixing the part of the wall they broke off!

Have been dealing with poor product and service since Aug. of 2021 and it still continues!

Install was delayed 1st because of lack of help then product lost. They finally showed up and where missing the patio doors (2). While installing the upstairs window they knocked off part of my stucco and didn't even tell me. They came back a few weeks later (after they found our 3-panel door that was lost for 3 weeks) to install.

The screen door was bent and needs to be replaced They then proceeded to install the 3-panel upside down and backwards! The new screen door, the bottom door lock and the screen door locks were still missing and the door wouldn't lock. Also, there was no screen door channel for the door to close and lock into. They came back several weeks later to fix these problems.

There was still no screen, channel or locks and my stucco was still on the ground. The wind picked up several days later and the wind was coming in through the cracks so bad it blew out a candle! I had to take apart the door frame a caulk the whole door. Again, after a long wait, they came and adjusted the big door, and it still leaks.

I have tried MANY MANY TIMES with little to no response and am currently waiting for a call back.

I finally had to fix the stucco myself. Feldco where are you???

Bad windows

Had 6 windows installed, all leaked water when it rained causing wall damage. One window I cant even close completely. Inspection guy tried to charge me $100 for service call just to take some pictures. Paid $79. Paying on phone is $79, pay in person is $100, huh!!!!! What a scam! Not sure what the final outcome will be but I know I am going to paying out big bucks. Stay tuned.

3 OR 4 years ago they did our siding and immediatley started having problems with the siding falling off, at least 3 times a year they come out and do a temporary fix instead of taking it off and fixing it right. the sales person said they would send their best crew who showed up and cut everything too short. now they wont even return calls.

The warranty that feldco claims to provide is fake. I purchased several windows from feldco a few years ago.

One of the casement (crank out) windows would not fully open. The molding at the top of the window had came loose and was hanging down. This is what was causing the window not to open.I contacted feldco and spoke with Isabel who said there would be a $99.00 charge for someone to come out and a charge for labor and whatever materials needed. I said what about the warranty?

She didnt answer just repeated the same thing. I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold for exactly 46 minutes 37 seconds. I realized I was going to get nowhere with these people. The warranty is just a sales pitch to get people to buy their product.

I have other properties that are in need of new windows I will never buy from feldco again.The salesman that came out stressed several times about the life time warranty on the windows and all materials. TThats the I called feldco an

Having a problem getting a resolution. I called about a cracked window some 3 years ago. When we finally received a call back. We paid the $99. They came out after Covid started to slow down, measured my window. Then the waiting game began. May 2021 I had a sales person come out to measure for a sliding glass door to get some help. No one has called yet after the salesperson made a promise to help.

I bought a Garden window from Feldco in Sept 2015. I ordered one with an Awning window in the center, as to be able to open the window while it is raining. Compared to the Garden window with Vertical opening windows on the ends. I loved it. Until I saw Black Mold growing on the sill. I contacted them in late 2018 and told them about the mold. I had to pay for someone to come out and tell me that they cannot do anything about it. So, I thought I would take matters into my own hands and bleach the mold until it was gone. After it was gone, I re-stained the wood, and resurfaced the wood with three coats of polyurethane. Thinking that now the mold will not come back. But, I was wrong. It came back with a vengeance. Not only was it at the same end of the window, but it was across the whole outside edge. From one end to the other.
So, I contacted Feldco again. This time they agreed that the window was defective. They ordered another one, and I had set up a date to have it installed March 23, 2020. Then the Coronavirus hit. So, I changed the appointment to May 18th. The Coronavirus is still going on. Then changed it to 16th. I was tired of rescheduling. They arrived and started to remove the molding inside my house. When one of the workers said, "this window is not like the one that we brought". He also said that "the new window has only the two vertical opening windows, on the end.". So, I told them that I didn't want it. I wanted the same as the original Awning window, and to leave. I called the company and told them what happened. The Installation Supervisor told me that they don't make that window anymore. That the window they sent is the only one I could get. I asked "Why wasn't I told that when they told me they were ordering a new one?" He apologized.
So, I had to accept the window that they brought.
After talking to the local manager, they agreed to refund me a portion of my initial price. However, I did not see the window until 5 Hours after it was installed. It is actually smaller in width and the molding around the inside has a large gap between its standard gap. Obviously the installers had to adapt the window to the larger opening. I don't know if they even insulated that gap. The glass shelf they left me, is 4 inches narrower than the previous shelf. The way the shelf is installed uses cheap metal adjustable brackets. The whole thing looks like a $1000.00 window that I could have gotten from Manards. I paid for $3600.00 for this piece of junk. Now I know that I will never even recommend Feldco.
The installers put the molding at the top and bottom of the window at the proper gap from the inside of the window. But the side molding is 1 1/2 inches from the inside of the window. Meaning their installers are NOT professionals. I could have done a better job, and have in the past.
The window itself is smaller inside than the one they replaced. Looks like Crap.
The wind out windows on the end, wind out all the way and hit the siding on my house. I have never had any Garden window wind out that far before. I have had 4 Garden windows before.

Called and set up an appointment for an in home estimate. Took the day off work and no one showed for the appointment and they didn't even bother to call and tell me they would not be there. Tried to set up an appointment to visit their showroom and they refused to let me come to the showroom.

Defective product, poor customer service

Purchase a new front door to our home in April of 2020. The defective door does not allow the lock to operate properly. I have had to initiate all follow-up actions and have yet to get the issue addressed. After many on site appointments to see if they can fix it, they agree that they can not. Now I am told they will have the door manufacturer rep come and look at it in January of 2021. How long does a person need to deal with a safety issue with their front door?? Don't pay the $11,000, neither the product or service measures up.

After delivery and installation of the new window, I inspected it. I found that their carpenters have NO idea as to how to frame a window with molding. The top and bottom are spaced properly from the edge of the window frame. But the two side pieces were spaced 1 1/2 inches from the edge of the frame. Also, the new window is smaller inside than the previous window. Looks cheaper, and I am sure will not last the lifetime warranty that I was given. The glass shelf is 6 inches narrower than the other one.It is held up with one of those cheap slotted adjustable shelf units that go inside a cabinet. Overall, I am totally DISSATISFIED. Even with the return of some money that they promised, "but haven't done anything to rectify. They said they would send an email confirming that amount two days ago. I still haven't received the email. These people are a bunch of crooks.

DO NOT sign a contract with Feldco to do any work on your home. They are dishonest and will do anything to not give you what you paid for. They destroyed the stone on the outside of my house and then only wish to give your a credit and want you to find someone to fix the damage they caused. The installers they use do not work for Feldco they are sub contractors that they hire off of Craig's List. They have little to no training and will destroy your house. Spend the extra money and pick an actual window company. You will be better off.
