I ordered a door and window from Feldco had them come out for a second measurement which was wrong by the way and since I wouldn't let them put up wrong size casings around the door I was treated rude and unprofessional

This company is a joke, they are priced to high and the quality of there work is for the birds, it took them five times coming to my home to try to get the job done right, They still did not do the job that they kept on lying to me about and promise me that they would take care of it, THEY DID NOT. First they had to replace 1 window, they left gaps on the side of the window, one window was straight, when they wrapped them it looked like a two year old did the job

My name is Kimberly It's weird I had the same problem. I am documenting and taking photos because I'm suing them for the *** job.

My walls are soft, and window sills are moldy and soft. One thing different with my case is they won't return my call. I've been calling since October 2014. How much did you pay per window?

I got windows in December 2014 when they had the 3 yrs no interest, I payed 650-700 per window totaling 8,400.00 for 11 windows. I won't stand there and take it I'm gonna stop paying them and filing a claim against them for my money, and damges.

We should team up, and anyone else with this issue should all go on strike against them and sue, we are bound to win if the judge sees consumers that never new each each other all going to court together. I am a marketing student so if they don't fix it after my letter I am sending due to their phone not working (sarcastic) or maybe they are booming with business they are too busy to return my call, I know exactly what to do and feldco will not scam another person after I am done, If you are interested email me at kimefvtc@***.com.

Not honoring contract - demanding payment early

My wife and l ordered windows and siding. Everything went great at first.

Measurements were done, windows installed, siding crew came out, then a knock on the door. Siding crew boss stated he could not install siding for amount he was being paid. He told me not to worry l have a contract and the problem was between Feldco and his crew. I heard nothing for months.

I called and Feldco refused to call me back. Then they wanted me to sign a new contract. I refused. Then I received a letter from a collection agency.

I called the agency who agreed to have Feldco call me. No call. Today I received a notice of intent to place a lien on my property. My intent is to hire a lawyer.

My wife and I have excellent credit and no one is going to Cheat me, or affect my credit without cause. (By the way, we are very happy with the windows!)

Preferred solution: Have the company contact me about completion of contract. Apologize for threatening me with collection agency and lien. My contract states I have 18 months after installation to pay. Why was I told installation would be completed if I had conduit removed?

Great experience me when you need Windows. Then get a sales pitch and they don't want to fix it.

Love the messes they leave that I have to clean up myself as well.

Not worth the $4,000 we spent. It's sad that we both have the same issues with brand new Windows.

Same issues. Soent $4,200 on 3 double hungs and a sliding door and screen.

Get tons of air from improper installs, had them come out 7 times since July when the install was first done. Still have drafts and my windows sweat. I understand if the humidity is high in the house, but when it's only at 33% and my old windows do t do this, there is a problem. Do t answer calls, I have to drive down to the office in my town to try and get anywhere.

Not to mention all the drywall dust in my cents, insulation and capping in my yard and deck for my dogs to hurt themselves on. Damage my siding, and a month old brand new counter.

Measures came to my residence for replacemt of window (condensation) I had been informed by Felco rep. was warrented but required $49 pre arrival fee of measurers which I paid.

Felco measurer phoned before arrival to confirm enroute, I phoned one time to confirm arrival time and also to give direction after I observed Felco truck drive pass my address. The Felco truck eventually arrived passing legal parking directly in front of my residence for a parking space further north and across the street. Two Felco workers arrived one later indicated he was the trainer (I guess of the other worker since he never indicated what he was the trainer of) neither introduced themselves. The worker that stated he is the trainer was wearing a brownish colored jacket with a felco logo.

I allowed both workers inside and pointed out the the affected window, the trainer "looked at the window" and stated "that is not our window" I informed him that the Felco rep.via telephone confirmed the warrenty and stated that the window was Felco's. The trained shugged and repeated "it's not our window ". The trainer had looked briefly at an adjacent window and stated that it was a Felco window. The trainer never explained nor pointed out how to determine the Felco window from the adjacent window which appeared the same.

I informed the trainer that the Felco phone rep. I questioned about the warrenty should have been able to and also tell me which window had been installed by Felco and though the trainer had what appeared to be an Ipad (told me original installation date and other info) he stated there was no indication of which window Felco installed via computer/ Felco records ( so visual verification was required, Felco identifier somewhere on window according to trainer). Trainer stated he "would have known which window he had put in his residence" This is same trainer who could not "find my address" and parked way down the street, across the street when there was ample parking directly in front because according to him "it was not legal parking " I was outside observing then attempting to direct while waiting (I received a shrug from the trainer when I informed him the park space was legal and there were absolutely no signs prohibing parking). Upon exiting my residence the trainer said to me in what sounded like a rather sarcastic tone "have a good day" I replied that he should also he replied "I will".

I Immediately telephoned Felco customer service told the phone rep. about the trainers rude attitude and what had transpired, awed that the trainer is allowed to 'train' other customer service related worker(s) ( the worker was quiet the whole time appearing somewhat surprised by the trainers attitude). I Irequested a refund of the $49 paid with.my credit card.

I was told 7-10 days for refund back to my account. I will not have future business with Felco.

I decided not to go with Feldco.

I work to hard for my money to have to go through something like the problems the previous clients went through. My appointment is scheduled for today 10/05/15.

and Feldco does NOT honor it's own warranties and agreements!

Went to the store on 99th and Western. Looking to get a door there. Got an estimate, told the guy I would be back. Came back a week later and the salesman was rude and snotty. Told me he could not honor the price and I was there yo purchase. Will nit EVER, due to his very rude behavior, spend my money there. Went to Hone Depot and made a purchase. Very pleasant salesman. Do Not Shop At Feldco.

Doesn't sound like your complaint is about Home Depot. Prices can change in a week no matter where you shop.

It may have been on sale, the manufacturer may have been running a promotion that ended or may have increased their price. Unless you had an estimate that specified the price was valid through a certain date, the price was good on the day it was quoted.

My wife and I. Have purchased 6 double windows from feldco windows and siding. And had trouble since the 2nd guy came out and remeasure the windows. Our appointment was from 8 to 10. 11:00 came and i called said they will call the guy up and find out what time he'll be here.. then it went to 12 to 2 and waited till 3 o'clock and then i was told he'll be there by 4 o'clock . He didnt show up till 5:45 p.m not once did i receive a call from him or feldco ....i was the one to have to call them . Then after that we left a message in the file to contact me for anything they needed . But kept leaving emails to my wife instead of a phone call to me as we asked them to ..... The day of our install that was scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m 11 o'clock came i called cause again no calls from feldco ...said they will be here from 11 to 1 .... 2 o'clock came and i called again . Said 2 to 4 there will definitely be there .... 4:30 comes and omg i got one call saying they wont be out at all today .....i was pissed ... I took off work to get this done and then they tell me that tomorrow first thing they will be out....i asked if we can cancel our order and they said No since they have your money already ..it seems as your *** after they take your money . Your no longer thier main priority anymore. ..

Yes Feldco is the worst company I have ever worked with. I would never reccomend them.

They were so horrible! Too many issues to even go into but if anyone out there is reading this, DO NOT GO WITH FELDCO!

No one should use feldco for Windows, unless you dont mind being treated like your time is nothing to them.

They will not take the time to call you in any matter.

Youll be waiting for hours / days in our case ..

Trust me go with a company that still puts value and consideration

Into the customers. Feldco don't. ..

Sad part is we asked for a refund and they told us no. So if they have your money they stop caring for your needs as a customer.

... And were still waiting for the installation

I experienced a similar situation once the second measurement was done which was wrong for the casings I was told I should've let them install anyway I don't think so but the good thing is while they are being so unprofessional I still have my money as far the second installment

I had a good experience with Feldco. The sales guy, named Rob was a little pushy but it was worth it in the end. Windows are great and the installers were clean and professional. I had old wood windows that were hard to open and did not keep out the cold. I cant wait until this winter to have a warm house. I know that there are people out there that have gotten pissed but my experience was pretty good. They are a pretty big company so it seems that the pissed reviews are a small part of their overall business.

Small? The Better Business Bureau gives Feldco an "F" rating. If the complaints were a small part of the overall business, I highly doubt it would get that kind of grade.

Poor Communication

We had 16 windows installed. The salesman told us that the it was not a standard installaton and charged us an additional 160 a window to cut back the siding and create a waterproof barrier.

We knew this was correct from our other estimates. But when the installers came they started throwing up these windows and just chalking them. I stopped the job and explained what we were promised and called the company. The installers had to go to home depot and purchase stuff for the right install.

They were here till 10pm and came back the next day and put in another full day.

I don't know if this was a mistake by feldco or the installer was attempting a shortcut but i felt like I had to watch them the whole time. That said the windows look and work great but I should not have had these issues.

What they did was called a flange window replacement and needed a buck frame,,,by doing what they did but you stopped them was to make extra money on the job by selling the buck and running with the buck lol

Don't trust Feldco to stand behind their product. I had 12 windows and two doors Installed each time I have had a problem with the windows they charged $50 for the service call and stated if they had to replace a part the additional cost would be $85 plus cost of part. Doors are rusting less than 5,yes.

Don't go with this company!!!! Quality product installed by not their people no matter what they tell you! Sub out all their work which is totally shoddy & unprofessional! Salesman told me I'd be 100% satisfied but won't return my calls. Their quality control guy said "It's not bad enough to fix" ???? To me he knows it's bad but not enough for them to make right! Big money for *** workmanship!

Feldco Windows Installation Review

Salesman told me he would waive the sales tax if I signed today. I did and found out later there is no sales tax on replacement windows. I was told the windows would be installed from the outside, but they removed all of my inside window moldings and then installed the windows from the inside. They were not real careful reinstalling the moldings.

First impressions

We had a scheduled appointment one night at 6:30. I got at least 3 reminders of the 6:30 appointment.

6:15 came and no show, no phone call.

6:30 came and still no show or phone call.

At 6:30 I call Feldco. I mention that it's now a half hour past my scheduled time (he mumbles something about how they have a window to arrive - umm, no, in all my emails and phone calls the time was 6:30!)

He puts me on hold to call my salesperson. He comes back on and says that he tried numerous times, but my salesperson did not answer. He tells me not to worry, that he's sure he's on his way because they haven't heard that there are any issues. He told me he would keep trying and get back to me.

7:15 - I'm now 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment and still no show and no phone call.

I called Feldco to cancel the appointment. They offered me $100. I told them that it would be one thing if I had gotten a phone call, but the lack of a phone call to let me know they were running late spoke volumes.

I will not be using Feldco. I believe it's instances like this that they have a F rating with the BBB.

Unless you pay trip charge, Feldco will not honor warranty

Got a felt seal, top of patio door that came out of the groove. We are still in the 5 year warranty. They said there is a trip charge. My copy of warranty says some services. They say coming to home is a service.

They would not even send anyone out unless I prepaid over the phone 69.00 dollars minus a 20.00 discount. If we would not prepay over the phone we would not get the discount. ALSO they said they do not book over 10 days. So if you are on vacation, for 2 weeks, forget it. You have to make an appoint with only 10days.

It is a war of words, and the warranty is limited warranty. SO be careful if you are relying on their warranty or even quality.
